How More Technology In School Will Benefit Us

Everybody loves using their phone, iPad, computer, or any other electronic device, right? Well, what if we used more electronics in the classroom? Would it benefit us?

In my opinion, yes it would help us. I think it would be cool if each person had their own iPad which had every textbook and workbook for all of our classes on it. With our digital books, we wouldn’t have to carry our textbooks around with us, falling down the stairs or hurting our backs because our backpacks are too heavy.

I think it would also help with homework, quizzes, and tests. It would be easier to do it digitally so we would haven’t to keep track of all the papers that we collect throughout the year. Honestly, the chances of students keeping all of their papers from the beginning of the year is slim to none. It would also help the teachers out so they could just correct everything right on their computer. There would be a lesser chance of losing some kids test somewhere and having them do it all over again.

I think that kids in this generation would learn better using technology since that is what’s surrounding them 24/7. Kids are always on their devices no matter where they are. I think that combining something that kids like, technology, and something that most kids don’t like, school, would be beneficial because they wouldn’t see school as hard and as boring as before since now they have something that will help them learn in the best way possible for them specifically.

“I personally think that it would be a great idea to have more technology in school because it would solve the problem of carrying around or possibly losing our textbooks, and it would save a lot of trees and paper,” says Ginger McKelvey, freshman.

One student actually uses an iPad at school, “It is really convenient in class to take notes on it and I don’t have to carry around a bunch of binders. I also save a lot of paper and my notes are a lot more organized,” says Liza Galanter, junior.

I think technology will ultimately make schools better and I hope that we can get more technology used at our school!
