Model UN Club

United Nations, maintaining peace for several decades, taken into the hands of appreciating students to understand troubles in other countries.

This club is run by Clark Lunday and hosted by Mrs. Pappas on every Thursday in room A234. All students attending this club get assigned a country and do research on their country to increase student awareness in foreign problems.

“I think the club has been pretty successful, a lot of students like the club, and so do I,” said President Clark Lunday, and “I like overhearing everyone’s stories about other countries,” said Mrs. Pappas, the head advisor of the club.

Students attend several congresses, or conventions of this club where they present their student’s countries to other schools. So that way everyone can learn about all countries pros and cons and develop projects to help or aid them.

“I’m doing Colombia, and I like the club, its pretty interesting,” said Model UN club, member Ryan Legault.

If you want to increase your awareness on the world’s problems come join the club.
