Teacher Proflie: Jane McCabe

IMG_3403

Ms. Jane McCabe has been teaching at San Mateo since 1999.  The veteran teacher is currently teaching A.S. sophomore English, C.P. junior English, and Photography.

Ms. McCabe has loved reading ever since she was a little girl.  She was a part of a book club then, and still is now.  She also started taking pictures when she was nine years old and has always loved art.

She strives to make sure every student feels safe and welcomed in her classroom.  As long as every student is learning and having fun while doing it, she feels she has succeeded.

Mrs. McCabe says “I hopes that I can help my students learn skills that that they will be able to use for the decades to come.”
