Tracy Freyre

photo (2)Ms. Freyre has been working at SMHS for 4 years now. She teaches ELD, English, and Spanish for Native Speakers. Mrs. Freyre grew up in New York, and then moved to California to pursue her studies to become a teacher.

I asked Ms. Freyre what she like most about SMHS and this is what she had to say, “The students because the students are supportive way different than my high school.” She is currently expecting her first baby boy! The baby is due on April 27th. She explains that being pregnant is an amazing feeling; it’s like having a little alien inside. She will still return to SMHS next year, but will be a few weeks late.

During her free time she likes to go hiking, running, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. “She is an amazing teacher,” says Aldo Lopez, sophomore, currently in Ms. Freyre’s Spanish class.

Even though Ms. Freyre will leave in April, we wish her the best of luck with her baby!
