There is currently a new health teacher at San Mateo High School by the name of Ms. Jackson. In fact, she has been teaching at this school since the beginning of 2014 as a replacement for the former health teacher Ms. Knott.

Ms. Jackson really enjoys San Mateo. “I am really impressed with the Drama Department and the students and teachers are really nice,” she said. She believes that health is a very important subject. “Health is important for people’s lives and it helps people reflect on their lives.”

Besides teaching, Ms. Jackson enjoys gardening. “I have rescued plants before, and I also like buying dwarf fruit plants, and I have an orchard on my roof,” she said. Her favorite activity is boogie boarding. Her advice to her future students is to think before you act. “Actions do have consequences, whether it is positive or negative. It would be smart to think before you do something.”
