Welcome Bearcat! : Mr. Hydnman

KMCHyndman

Mr. Hydnman, P.E. teacher and football coach.SMHS gained yet another great addition to the Bearcat family in the 2013-14 school year. Students might know him as the head coach for the Frosh-Soph football team, a P.E. teacher, or simply as, Mr. Hyndman.

He was teaching at Capuchino High School for 15 years before moving to SMHS. He began his career at the University of Long Beach.

While in college, Mr. Hyndman majored in Physical Therapy and later on studied Kinesiology. His passion for health and fitness grew more and more through the years and he realized that there was nothing more that he wanted to do than make a difference in an individual’s life.

“I want to change the outlook on kids; the impact of one students life is tremendous,” said Mr. Hydnman

A few interesting facts about Mr. Hyndman: He loves to golfing, hiking and being outdoors. He is a very athletic individual and enjoys playing football as well.

“He’s an OG. He is a very passive P.E teacher and is very passionate about what he does.” said Javi Gaytan (12)

When asked what he thought about SMHS, Mr. Hydnman replied, “It’s outstanding: it is the most spirited school and has lots of caring students.”

SMHS hopes to have Mr. Hydnman around for years to come. SMHS thanks Mr. Hydnman for his hard work and dedication; you are appreciated.
