All Star Weekend Highlights

This NBA All-Star weekend is the most hyped game since the Jordan-era. The captain Lebron James is desperate to win in order to prove all his haters that he can lead his team to a win when all of the elite players play hard, and he did. Team Lebron beat Team Curry with the scores of 148-145. The game was exciting ith seven seconds left, Lebron and Kevin Durant gave Stephen Curry a taste of his own medicine, trapping him in the corner Warriors-style. Curry then passed to DeMar Derozan who then shot the ball but was way off. LeBron threw his hands in happiness while giving his teammate Anthony Davis a body bump. A sign of victory and a shake off from his haters.

Aside from the main event; The Skills Challenge, Dunk Contest, and Three point contest was also an amazing sight to behold. Brooklyn Nets player Spencer Dinwiddie beat the Chicago Bulls rookie Lauri Markkanen, giving the guard their first win over the bigs while also giving the Nets the only win they’re going to get this season.

The Three point contest was also fun, Devin Booker got a score of 28 which is extremely high. But Klay Thompson gave him a great game with a score of 25. This also created a meme of Paul George who got a score of nine, which was beaten by Kevin Hart a year before with a score of 12. Finally, the dunk contest was satisfying, asLarry Nance Jr. and Donovan Mitchell battled it out on the finals with Mitchell winning over Nance Jr. 97-94. Nance Jr. did a tribute dunk of his dad’s signature cradle dunk while also doing a off-the-backboard and another off-the-backboard-while-in-mid-air dunk. Overall, this All-Star weekend has been the best All-Star game in a decade.
