Viaje a Teotihuacán

El viernes, primero de diciembre, las clases de español tres, entre otros estudiantes, maestros y padres fueron de excursión a la exhibición “Teotihuacán: Ciudad del Agua, Ciudad del Fuego” en el museo De Young. Más de 100 estudiantes asistieron al paseo, donde aprendieron sobre la civilización Teotihuacana de la antigua Mesoamérica. Durante el paseo,los estudiantes tuvieron que llenar un paquete. El contenido del paquete variaba, unos estudiantes tuvieron que dibujar artefactos de su gusto, mientras que otros dibujaron artefactos que habían sido asignados, escribiendo el uso y la importancia que tenían para los Teotihuacanos. Bearcats Qualify for the National Merit Scholarship

  National Merit Qualifiers at SMHS On the morning of October 11, 2016, 10th and 11th grade students from all over the nations took the PSAT or the NSMQ. The test is composed of three sections; reading, writing, math and, while the test prepares students for the SAT, it also allows 11th grade students to qualify for the prestigious National Merit Scholarship.  At San Mateo High School, there are 5 students who are semi-finalists in the competition to the receive $2,000.
