What do you do as a physical therapist? I work in a sports orthopaedic center, so I work mainly with muscles, bones and joints. I see injuries as small as ankle sprains up to things like post-op knee replacements. I work on injuries through manual therapy or therapeutic exercise. What is manual therapy? The new superintendent of the San Mateo Union High School District plans to make high school a life-changing experience for students. “We want to be that institution that really changes kids’ lives and puts them on a trajectory where they can be super successful,” said Dr. Kevin Skelly, who has been working in education for over 30 years.
