Some of these classics include Elf, Bad Santa, Home Alone, The Polar Express, and The Santa Clause. JSA Members Go to the Fall State Overnight Convention

Akshaya Natarajan, a junior and leader of SMHS’ JSA chapter, organized our school’s trip to the Fall State convention. A “chapter” refers to an individual school’s club. The convention was located at a Marriot in Santa Clara, California. Over 800 JSA members attended from Northern California’s JSA chapters. There were so many debate topics, the possibilities felt endless. During breakfast, lunch, and dinner, students could decide to walk to any restaurant they wanted to go to and were encouraged to make new friends from other JSA chapters.
