Pep Band in the Exciting Rally

Friday’s Rally was the first rally to be held this year having the pep band playing off some exciting music. Eye of the Tiger, Born to be Wild, Tequila, all these songs were echoed throughout the field as the band played their dynamic songs. Jason Zhang, a saxophonist at the bottom of this picture was extremely excited as “playing” was his passion.

Volleyball at Lunch!

Bearcats broke out the volleyball net in the quad recently. This January weather is crazy! It feels like summer!

Crazy Orange And Black Day Rocks Quad

Bearcats filled the quad with orange and black goodness during Spirit Week’s Crazy Orange and Black Day.  

Last Spring Sports Rally

This spring sports rally was better than ever, with all sorts of different activities and important matters to address. It was jungle themed and had a great introduction which really got the people intrested  This rally defenitely proved that a PAC is not nessecary for a great time. With the hard work of our current spirit commisioners, Ben Lim and Micheal Torbati, along with the assistance of leadership, we were able to have “the best Gym Rally ever,” Dylan Babbs (12) exlcaimed. “ The Harlem Shake was my favorite part and I always wanted to witness one in reaL life….

Seniors Say Goodbye with Dance

Although rain poured onto the San Mateo campus, seniors did not hesitate to dance in the quad. Jumping up and down to the beats of Daft Punk, seniors enjoyed their last rally at their home: San Mateo High. The afternoon rally started off with cold and bitter weather, and then suddenly started to rain. Instead of running inside for cover from the rain, seniors embraced the wet weather and sang along to One More Time.
