Track & Cross Country Take Off

As many of you may already know, running is a great way to stay healthy and fit. So why not join the San Mateo track and cross country team and have a great time running along with friends and students from different schools? Track and cross country starts during the fall of every year. This year there are a total of 14 members on the team. On April 29th, the San Mateo Track And Field team went to Aragon High School for a track meet. This was both teams’ final meet before championships, so the racers were getting their final training before the official competition. The meet was close, with Aragon winning about half of the races and San Mateo winning the other half, and the winner of the meet is not known yet.
